Locking Safety Bed Rail Brackets

These are the bed rail brackets that I used on this bed. They have a locking mechanism that keeps the brackets from being released. I highly recommend using safety bed rails brackets for bunk bed, and for any children's bed for that matter.

Bed Rail Safety Catch

I used these safety catches for the safety guard rail. These safety catches will not keep the cleverest of children from removing the guard rail intentionally, but they will keep it from coming off accidentally.

Adapt-A-Bed Plan and Hardware Kit

This is the plan from which I build this bunk bed. It has an option for a built-in desk, which I would have liked to add, but there is inadequate space in the room where this bed lives.
